As a major retailer in the bathroom supply channel servicing both the retail and commercial trade sectors, this client’s challenge was based around inconsistency of supply. Thanks to the supply chain disruptions caused by the global pandemic, this client’s confidence to consistently supply key products was dropping, and as a result, larger tender opportunities were being missed with plans for future growth being put on hold. 


GSS partnered with the business, and after an investigative process, was able to identify reliable new supply sources for in-demand products that also offered a more competitive price point. These new suppliers gave the client the confidence to meet market demands, ultimately resulting in a 16% category increase and margins raised by some 13.5%.
